Knox Update - 5/3
Thank you for your prayers...we've had an event free weekend, have watched Knox play and interact just like always (aside from some back pain from the procedure yesterday), and grown a bit in seeing God's character through the preaching of His word...

Friday, Knox had bone marrow drawn to determine the level of Leukemia present there. Praise be to God that none was detected. The way I understand it is that there may be some residual amounts (thus still the need for whole body therapy to come soon), but it can't get any better than not being able to detect any!! So as it stands, he does have blast cells present in his CSF, but not in his marrow. Tomorrow we go to UVA for another lumbar puncture (have to keep treating his CSF, but this helps him feel better too) and to discuss the next steps with the team there. We are so thankful for his team, various contacts we've had over the last few days, and for the way this is starting to take shape. That being said, we don't know exactly what's next. As I mentioned Friday, please pray for clarity and wisdom to decide what to do next. We are also looking at other therapy options in other locations and should find out more about that all tomorrow.
Please pray that we will simply be faithful and just do what's next...sometimes that seems like the toughest part because we want the end result right now...please pray that whatever treatment path is chosen, it will be a means to eradicate this for the rest of his life...
Soli Deo Gloria
