Knox Update - 2/20

Knox Update - Week 3
As we get to the end of week 3, I wanted to pass along an update from Philly. At the end of last week, Knox was in the hospital with high fevers. The fevers finally subsided and went away completely, allowing us to leave on Tuesday after a 6 night stay. We are thankful for our warm and comfortable townhouse and, while we are very thankful for the care he received, we are glad to be out of the hospital. He has continued to progress back to full strength. To this point, all tests have come back negative for disease. We pray for this continually and thank you all for calling out to the LORD on his behalf. We continue to pray for these Tcells to last for a long time, reaching and destroying every last blast cell that may be left. From here on out, the clinic visits are not as many and often, but he'll still get bloodwork checked once or twice a week. We are schedule to be here until March 16th and he'll have another bone marrow aspiration and lumbar puncture the week before we leave and will see what the update on the tcell activity is. Pray for no Bcells to be present as that's the indicator for the Tcells working. We have enjoyed seeing the snow fall without much consequence to the roads, though we are looking forward to seeing green grass and feeling the spring sun in March!! We love Virginia, for sure!
Thank you to everyone who has flooded our messages with words of encouragement, notes from God's Word, and a mailbox full of cards, notes, and treats. Anyone who can tell your son or daughter, or even students, please let them know we've received their notes, Knox has been opening and reading each one, and he has truly loved and enjoyed them.
Please keep praying for us, for his healing, for our faith to be strong to trust the LORD and His ways, and to proclaim Christ through our actions.
Lastly, TOMORROW (Feb. 21) is the last day to order Knox gear if you're wanting to. Again, it's not a fundraiser in any way, but we'd love to know you had a Knox shirt on, someone asked you about it, and you got to share the love of Christ with someone!
Thank you for doing this with us!
